Meet the Founder, Artisha

MEET ARTISHA

She knows what it means to be the woman everyone depends on.

Artisha Ivey has spent much of her life being the one who could figure it out, carry the weight, and take care of the people around her.

But somewhere between leading, building, serving, and showing up for everyone else, God began showing her something deeper: the women who carry a lot need somewhere they can be carried, too.

That realization became the heart behind Solumere.

What began with systems consulting shifted when Artisha hosted an intimate Returning for women who had carried her through a difficult season. She saw what happened when women were given intentional space to put things down, break bread, have honest conversations, rest, and encounter God together.

Today, Artisha curates intimate experiences for high-capacity women who are often known by their strength, accomplishments, leadership, and ability to make things happen.

Her gift is bringing people together and creating the kind of space where the surface-level conversation doesn't last very long.

Because at Solumere, you don't have to lead the room.

You don't have to give your résumé.

You don't have to prove why you deserve a seat.

You can simply come in and be a daughter.

Why we set the table

Most rooms want something from her. Boards, panels, dinners that are really negotiations. We wanted a space where nothing is owed.

So we set one. Faith is the frame, held quietly — present the way candlelight is present. Part of the space, not an agenda.

Every gathering stays small on purpose. Twelve at a table. Ten in a retreat house. Small enough to be seen, and to answer honestly when someone asks how you are.

Everything is prepared

Menus, seating, the shape of the evening — handled, so you never have to host.

No performing

Prayer and scripture held honestly and lightly. You don’t have to be anything here.

Room for you

Seats are few by design, so the space stays a conversation and not an audience.
